Company logo redesign is in order

A great company logo helps to strengthen its brand. The Golden Arches of McDonalds and the Nike swish attest to this fact. But for a small business, the name, and sometimes a slogan, needs to be included in the overall design. It is assumed that a company’s logo be the same wherever it is displayed. But this is not so in SEDJ’s case.

One logo needs to be used, and used everywhere. This is crucial for consistency and it will pay dividends in increasing brand awareness. Since the second image is more colorful and appealing to the target market, we’ll go with it for now.

A company logo is more than just an image, at least for a small company like SEDJ. Once they become as popular as Nike or Apple, then just a graphic will suffice. For now, we recommend that the company name and slogan be a part of the logo. Here’s an example of a preliminary design.
